01About Project

We successfully migrated NeoBank's critical infrastructure from a 15-year-old monolith to a modern, event-driven microservices architecture on AWS.

02The Challenge

NeoBank struggled with a legacy system that crashed during peak hours. Deployments took days, and new feature velocity was near zero. They needed a zero-downtime migration to a scalable architecture.

03Our Approach

We implemented the Strangler Fig pattern to gradually replace functionality. We built a new event-driven architecture using Node.js services on AWS Fargate, coordinated by Kafka for data consistency.

04The Results

The new system handles 10x the traffic with 99.99% uptime. Deployment time was reduced from 2 days to 15 minutes.
